A Love Like No Other: Celebrating How Important You Are, Momma

(Inside: A Mother’s Day message for you.)

You are a mom.

You give every day,
put others’ needs before your own,
and do alone a million unnoticed important tasks.

You teach,
referee,
and mentor.

You cook,
clean,
and work.

You give hugs,
listen to hearts,
and prioritize connection.

You create routines,
set boundaries,
and adjust to make sure the family’s working together.

You are creative,
resourceful,
and strong.

Even when you stumble and fall, you figure out how to get back up and keep showing up.

And you do this all with so much love and grace.

Momma, there is no one else in your family’s life like you.

Your importance is unique. Influence, impactful. You are a safe place. Your hugs heal, words encourage, and wisdom guides. Your home creates belonging, and your presence nurtures confidence. The impact your love has on your family is immeasurable, and you cannot be replaced.

So, why am I saying this? Because moms need to remember it. Right smack in the middle of an ordinary day.

Momma, you are a gift.
Your love is like no other.
And you make everywhere a better place.

PS – If you want a fun pic with your kids today, grab the flowers you got for Mother’s Day, or from your yard…or even dandelions would look cute…and take a similar shot to the one my husband took of myself and our boys a few years back.

Your brain bounces between your day at work, what time(s) your kids need to be at practice, your teen’s missing school assignments, that you haven’t called your mom lately, the load of the laundry to be switched, “What’s for dinner?” and “Why are 3 of my brain-tabs frozen?”

You are raising tweens and teens and college-age kids – the unique parenting phase where everything gets easier…and harder.
