Band Families,

We do a lot, don’t we?

So many road trips to parades all over the state.

Shivering in the cold waiting to watch the half-time show.

Remembering to buy new reeds.

Taking the instrument in for repair.

Late weekday games hear the pep band perform.

Fundraisers.

Booster club meetings.

Buying more black pants and marching band shoes and t-shirts.

Concerts.

Pancake breakfasts.

But, do you know what?

We love it.

We do.

The entertainment.

The community

Watching our kids learn, make friends, grow, and do what they enjoy.

We’ve all been parenting long enough to know that we’ll blink, and it’ll be over.
 
 

So, we keep showing up.

Over and over.

Bringing our camera.

And loving this season of life.
